I don’t think it should be called hunting for a job because hunting, demands patience. One thing I have learned working with job seekers is there is anything but patience. Job seekers want answers and they want them now. I hear things like, why don’t they call me back? I have to go and fill everything out on-line if I want a job. They’ll never even notice me or my application. It is a waste of time to fill it all out! They want a third interview and then what just to tell me I’m over qualified? Landing an interview is probably a lot harder than actually landing a job. We all can go out and do “something” to make revenue, but chances are we won’t do anything. Finding the job you want to actually do, day in and day out, takes patience and a plan. That plan is devised before you begin the hunt. Hunting for a job isn’t about hunting at all it is about the preperation and the plan.
